Bruce Fielding is a professional chef who teaches both locally and in Europe. He taught for many years at both Draeger’s Culinary Center in Menlo Park, CA and at Sur le Table in Los Gatos, CA. Bruce specializes in hands-on classes where student participation is encouraged.
Along with his teaching, Bruce works behind-the-scenes for cooking shows, does recipe testing, food styling, menu development, and has a specialized catering business. B & B Catering in California’s Bay Area concentrates on high-end and smaller scale events to provide the highest quality of food and service. He also accompanies PBS TV personality Joanne Weir to teach in Italy & France.
Bruce’s talents encompass a wide variety of cuisines, including Country French, Italian, Thai, New Hawaiian Regional and Southwest. When away from the kitchen, Bruce tends to his own vineyard in the Paso Robles appellation that is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
